I'm thankful that I have such pleasant, well behaved girls. I get complimented a lot on their manners and general behaviour.
I had registered the girls in gymnastics. They are close enough in age that they are able to go in the same class, however, the rules state that each child must be accompanied by an adult. I had emailed the instructor to find out if there were any exceptions. I know the girls and what they are capable of and I really felt like they (and I) could handle it just the 3 of us. The instructor was extremely hesitant and not very receptive to the idea. Apparently there have been many problems in the past and it becomes a distraction for the other members of the class...not to mention a safety issue. He reluctantly agreed to give it a shot. 5 minutes into the class, he pulled me aside to tell me how impressed he was and how we would not have a problem because the girls were so well behaved. Proud mama moment!
And speaking of gymnastics? Pretty much the best activity I've taken the girls to yet. So. Much. Fun. The girls keep saying how much they miss it (already!) and how they can't wait to go back.

That's amazing! Both their behaviour and how much they liked it. It always feels so good to get compliments like that.
I also don't think it's something necessarily to be thankful for - it's you're hard work paying off!

Ditto that this is because of how hard YOU work on those good behaviors. Way to go!

If I could afford gymnastics and dance I would have the girls in both.
